Happy Birthday Girlie

Our family dog Samantha had her first birthday today! We got her after Zachary's second birthday, and they have been best buddies ever since. He loves his "Girlie" and it would be hard for us to imagine our lives without her in it. She is truely a wonderful dog for our family. In the begining she really did live up her to her name, Samantha the naughty dog. But with some good training and love she is a great dog and best friend to our son. We love you, Girlie! Happy Birthday!

First Snow

We got our first snow fall after Christmas, it only lasted a day. It wasn't like last year when we were hot with huge blizzard storms and Adm didn't have to go into work for a week. It was still nice because Adam and I were thinking that we would have to take Samantha up to Mount Hood to see some snow! Samantha just loves the snow, being a snow dog in all! She couldn't get enough and Zachary was having so much fun chasing after her.

Merry Christmas

We spent our holidays up in Gig Harbor at my parents house. My brother and sister were both home for the holidays which made it a lot of fun for everyone. This year we have a lot to be thankful for. My brother is soon to be engaged to his girlfriend, my family just loves Megan. She is absolutely awesome. Mu sister is getting married in March to a wonderful man with a great family. We are expecting little Wyatt the end of April. We took these pictures before Christmas Eve mass and then afterwards Zachary had to open his Christmas jammies!

My 30th Birthday Bash

On December 23, I celebrated my 30th Birthday. Adam and my parents threw me a big birthday bash up in Gig Harbor at my parents house. A bunch of our friends and family where able to attend and made it so much fun and special for me. They did an awesome job of putting the party together, and I had so much fun! Thanks so much for making my birthday so special, love you all very much!

Peacock Lane

After Adam was finished with finals we were able to enjoy and celebrate all the holiday had to offer. We went to Peacock Lane one night in Portland. Peacock Lane is an older neighborhood in north Portland that goes all out for holiday lights and decorating their neighborhood. It was our first time and we all had a lot of fun.

Christmas Tree

Every year I like to get a picture in front of our Christmas tree, especially of our sweet boy. Usually, I would take the picture on Christmas Eve, but we will be up at my parent's this year, so I took it early. We will be leaving on Sunday to head up to Washington and spend the week up there with friends and family. You gotta love that cheesy smile of Zachary's!

Meeting Santa

The first week of December we always like to take Zachary to meet Santa. I just wish one year he wouldn't be so scared and and smile! He was so excited to meet Santa the whole day and all he could do was talk about meeting Santa, but when it came time to sit on his lap it was not all smiles! He didn't even want to eat his candy cane after the picture was taken. Maybe next year we can get a smile out of him, then we will have the new baby too!

Thankful

We had a nice Thanksgiving that we spent at my parent's house in Gig Harbor. It was quiet, but full of love and family. I have been spending a lot of time up there helping out my mom due to the fact that her health hasn't been all that week and she has been in and out of the hospital for a couple weeks. Adam was promoted to another new position within the Internal Revenue Service. A new group, task force that President Obama wanted started. Out of four thousand applicants, only twenty were selected. It is very exciting and he will be traveling more. He was in Philadelphia the week before Thanksgiving, and will be going to Memphis in a couple weeks. I am so thankful for my husband's job, my children, and my family especially during this hard time that people are facing. If only I could find a cure for my mom, or at least to heal her pain. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We're Having a Boy...

This morning, we all went and had my sonogram done...It's official we are having another boy! Our new little bundle of joy is due April 24th! We are truly excited to have another addition to our family. We had a nice family outing afterward to celebrate, lunch and a trip to to BabyGap to pick out our little boy's coming home outfit from the hospital. It's a tradition that Adam and I started with Zachary.

Almost Three

I can't believe how fast my first born is growing up. In just a couple months he will be turning three years old. Time has gone by so fast. I can still remember when Adam handed him to me for the first time and I looked into his beautiful blue eyes. Nothing was more wonderful than that moment. He has been such a fun kid to watch grow and mature, still crazy, but so much fun. He is so energetic, free spirited, and just a joy that lights up his mommy's and daddy'sworld each and every day.

Halloween

This was such a fun year for Halloween, my mom came down from Gig Harbor and we took Zachary to a carnival at Jenkins Estate. He had so much fun playing the different games and taking a hay ride up to see the bumpkins. Zachary is very much aware of what Halloween is all about...CANDY! Just Kidding. Zachary was Elmo this year, which made my dad so happy, and Adam and I went as Princess Leia and Chewbacca for the Lewis and Clark Law Halloween party. My brother had the chewy costume for Adam to borrow, so then it done deal as to what we would be for Halloween. Although, we lost the couple's contest to Lewis and Clark and a tree hugger. Go figure, only in Oregon.

My Sister's Engagement Party

Sunday afternoon we celebrated Katie and Rodney's engagement at my parent's house. My mom put on a really nice dinner for both the families to come together and celebrate. Even though we have known Rodney's family for the past eighteen years because of my friendship with his cousin and my friend Molly. It was still nice to get together and celebrate their upcoming marriage. My grandma and my cousin both came up from California for a couple days to join in on the festivities which was nice to have more family there. Can't wait for the wedding in August...Here are just a few of the pictures that I took during the party.
