Salem Hoopla

Saturday and Sunday, Adam played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Salem, Oregon. He played on a team with some guys from his PortlandBasketball.com league and the IBL (International Basketball League). The tournament took up the streets from around the capital building through Willamette College, Adam's court was in front of the capital building. With it being over a hundred degrees it was nice for Zachary to chill and run through the water fountain. Adam's team didn't do as well as he did in Spokane Hoopfest, but they all had a lot of fun.

Nana and Papa's

Zachary and I stayed a couple extra day at my parent's after the reunion. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing at the park, and enjoying some extra time to visit with friends that I don't get to see all the time living in Portland.

Peninsula High Reunion

Celebrating like it's 1999 Part 2: So, this weekend in Gig Harbor was my 10 year high school reunion. Of course, the Seahawks rocked it better than the Braves! Our dinner reception and dancing was held at Freighthouse Square in Tacoma, and the family picnic was held Sunday at the Gig Harbor Park. It was so much fun for Adam and I to spend a night out with out friends. I had an absolute blast!

Boise/Timberline High Reunion

Adam and I went back in time and celebrated like it was 1999! Adam had his 10 year high school reunion this past weekend in Boise. It was a three day events of picnics, visiting with friends, Floating the river, and touring the high school. Floating the Boise River was a lot of fun and Zachary's first time. He had so much fun and just loved it! It was fun for me as well as Adam because I went to college with a lot of them and they were also in our wedding. Living in Portland away from both home towns we don't get to see a lot of people, at least as much as we would like.

Fireworks In Seaside

So, of course we spent the 4th of July in Seaside. Like we have been for the past six years. The weather was beautiful and we were there with my parents. Adam got to spend two days surfing, enjoying nine holes of golf with my dad, and taking Samantha on a seven mile hike starting from Seaside and ending in Cannon Beach. It is so comforting to me that Adam has such a great relationship with my dad and my brother. I enjoyed spending time with my mom shopping and relaxing on the beach. We all enjoyed a nice swim in the pool. I still got it! I beat Adam again in a race in the pool! He may be able to beat in basketball, but I got him hands down in the pool. Zachary loved feeding the seals at the aquarium and playing on the beach, like he always does! The fireworks show is always amazing on the beach every year, so many people, so many fireworks shows!
