A last minute decision we decided to head over to Boise for the long weekend. I was home less than twenty-four hours from Chicago before we left. Saturday we spent time at Lucky Peak and went to the Boise River. Sunday, Grandma Rankin had a BBQ at her house. The Williams and the Matthews were there to celebrate Spencer and Adam's upcoming birthdays. And, to finish the night off the boys played a game of risk. Adam is so competitive when it comes to playing board games. He says, it's because he never got to win against his older brothers! Sorry, Brandon and Chris! Finally, Marc won the game! We all had a good time even though it was a quick trip.
